The United Cup is only a few hours to start, but Nick Kyrgios has disappointed the Australian fans by withdrawing from the tournament just a day before it starts. His teammates as well as the organizers are also shocked by the news.
Nick Kyrgios was the Wimbledon finalist this year. He is currently the number 22nd player in the ATP world ranking. He is also the #1 player for Australia in the tournaments. We have reports that the player is may be suffering from an Ankle injury from his exhibition tournament of the previous week. He will be taking a rest to prepare himself for the upcoming Australian Open.
Australia was scheduled to face England and Spain in the group round. As Kyrgios is not playing, Alex de Minaur will be taking his place as the top player of the Australian side. He has ignored the matter and said,
