The 30th edition of the Winter University Games, the Lake Placid 2023 is ready to start its course. The tournament will be starting on January 12. The event is actually a multi-sports winter game.
This year, 50 nations with 1443 athletes will be participating in the tournament. Lake Placid will be hosting this event this 11 days long event this year. The name of the official Mascot this year is Adirondack Mac. We will be seeing the best young winter athletes through this tournament.
Apart from the sporting events, there will be a music festival every night. There will be a torch Relay before the start of the tournament, which has been set to take place at Gore Mountain on January 12, on the opening day. The tournament will be broadcasted on different TV channels around the world.
