The American Express 2023 is a PGA Golf tournament, which will start its course on January 19. With almost all the top players in the world, the tournament will be featuring lucrative prize money to the top players.
The tournament field will include 156 top golf players in the world. We will see players like Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Tony Finau in the cup. We will not be seeing Hudson Swafford, who was the defending Champion.
The tournament will be shown on Golf Channel on TV in the USA and Sky Sports in the UK. The event will be played at the PGA West in La Quinta, California

The winner of the tournament will receive a purse of $1,440,000, while the runners-up will get prize money of $872,000. The player standing third will take home a total payout of $552,000.
Apart from the prize money, the winner of the tournament will receive 500 important FedEx points. The winner will also get 52 official ranking points, which will help to climb up in the world ranking.
