Talon Esports has brought on board a total of six players, with Patiphan Chaiwong, a former player for Overwatch, taking the lead in the recruitment effort. In 2020, Patiphan quit Overwatch in order to pursue a career in VALORANT. However, he eventually rejoined the Overwatch League as a member of the Los Angeles Gladiators.
Patiphan is now joined on the Talon Esports roster by former XERXIA players Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut, Panyawat “sushiboys” Subsiriroj, and Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard, according to an announcement made by the organization today. Talon Esports is competing in the VALORANT tournament, which began at the beginning of this year.
The roster for VCT 2023 is now complete with the addition of both Apiwat “garnetS” Apiraksukumal and Jittana “JitboyS” Nokngam.
The VCT 2023 kick-off event is scheduled to begin in February and go until the beginning of March. Talon Esports is planning to participate in the competition. There will be a competition between each of the 30 paired teams, who come from all across the globe.
The kick-off event will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the winner will get an additional berth for the winner’s local area in the VCT Masters later on in the year.
Around the end of March, the beginning of the APAC international league split, Talon Esports will compete against other partnered teams such as T1, Gen.G, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Paper Rex, Team Secret, and many more. These matches will take place in the APAC region.
